“Sahara Sun to help power Europe”

November 2nd, 2009

“Sahara Sun ‘to help power Europe” – another perpetual lagging behind by African leaders, I guess.

The Sahara Desert is the world’s largest hot desert. It covers most of Northern Africa, making it almost as large as the United States or the continent of Europe. The desert stretches from the Red Sea, including parts of the Mediterranean coasts, to the outskirts of the Atlantic Ocean.

African leaders wake up from your slumber or give way for a meaningful change in the continent.

A high percentage of Africans still regards electricity as a luxury and not a necessity. A continent endowed with vast amount of sun energy finds it very difficult to steer its priority towards harnessing this energy for good; the energy that would have been a springboard for the continent’s industrialization; the energy that could even be sold overseas to maintain the project.

While the elected officials and dictators of African nations are still in a slumber state or are glued to the bottom of the bag by their short-sightedness and quest for super fast riches, the European countries are silently showing them exactly what they supposed to have done – that is, harnessing the Sahara Sun to Power every Village, Towns, Cities, in their respective countries.

Serious Questions Arise: Why haven’t African Countries ever come together to plan for such a mega project? Why hasn’t individual African Countries, for instance, the rich ones like Nigeria and South Africa independently plan and execute such a project to absolutely change their power grid? We may never know the answers to these simple questions.

Reversing the role…Can African business consortium go to Europe to harness a power generating project to mainly favor the African countries if electricity is scarcely available in Europe? – Well, I hope you know the answer.

What’s really going on in African leader’s mind?

In conclusion, I praise the courage of the European Business Consortium in indentifying this viable project located in Africa for the benefit of the European Continent. I encourage the European Business Consortium to spot and develop more of these sorts of projects in Africa (they are abundant) for the European Continent because the African leaders may never wake up from their slumber.

  • On The Making – A Probable Alternative to Oil & Gas?

South Atlantic Treaty Organization (SATO)?

September 29th, 2009

Should there be a “Nato of the South?”

Possibly to be called “South Atlantic Treaty Organization (SATO) – a defence alliance of South American and African nations. Leaders of Libya and Venezuela have called on Africa and South America to create a new alliance to counter Western dominance.

Is there a hidden message here? Oil & Gas! How would this alliance weld the influence of member states with vast oil & gas deposits?

AFRICAN CONTINENT – MAYBE IT’S MAN’S LAST HOPE

July 27th, 2009

Is Africa a forgotten continent? Or is good news from that continent suppressed by outside powers?

I strain my ears everywhere I travel to, listening very attentively to the rest of the world’s media, hoping to hear something positive about Africa – unfortunately, all that is heard is war, hunger, sickness, and you name them. Undoubtedly, this is not a true picture of Africa and some of her hard working people.

The negative view of Africa by the rest of the world’s media, in my opinion, reveals a deep-routed conspiracy to glue Africa, perpetually, to the bottom of the bag while her unrivaled rich natural resources are quietly sapped away.

Are the leaders of African countries aware of this? I am afraid they play absolute ignorant while carefully enriching their pockets. They, regrettably, help to supply more glues to finally nail Africa to her knees.

Africans, if you want to play a fair game, bark loud and clear elaborating the positive side of your continent; beat the positive drum until the music sinks to the conscious minds of all people the world over irrespective of the unrepentant negative stands of the world’s media.

If African leaders could straighten up and stop the collaborative loot of the continent’s natural resources, Africa could become the last hope for mankind – that is, mankind’s reserve continent. A reserve, in the sense that, after exhaustion of the rest of the world’s natural resources and habitat, Africa could be there for mankind – but first, Africa Must Be Reset.

Nigaz name sparks racism debate…

July 2nd, 2009

“Russian & Nigerian companies have formed new oil firm called… Nigaz“.

Pathetic news! If the person that suggested the name ‘Nigaz’ is not immediately fired, then there is no one left thinking normally in the Nigerian Government.

With such SENSITIVITY attached to the word, one would think the Nigerian government, leading the most populous black nation in the world with a population of about 200 million people (all blacks) should have known better. In my opinion ‘NIGERIA MUST BE REBOOTED’ and sanity installed before it is too late for the country.

Everyone will agree with me that this single incident has finally opened up the box that was hiding the quality of people and the ability of decision making for the Federal Government of Nigeria. This could be narrowed down to bunch of un-educated sycophants whose only objective is to sell every oil & gas blocks (Nigeria’s birth-right) to foreign countries, then siphon Nigeria’s wealth abroad.

Russians are hard working people, and care about their citizens. That is the reason why they come all the way from Russia to Nigeria to sign a deal to consolidate their position in the gas business. Has Nigerian government ever thought in the reverse – that is, going out to foreign country to sign a deal, say, to buy oil or gas blocks that may benefit the next generation of Nigerians? Think of this in a minute.
